'Information' is defined as a message received and understood. Simply stated, information is the result of processing, analyzing and organizing data in a way that adds to the knowledge of the person receiving it. Technology would then play the most important role of being the intelligent medium of transmitting that processed-data. When that starts happening even in a remotely-connected industry like microfinance, then we all can claim that we are truly in the information age.
